How It Works

Five steps from fabric to finished outfit.

1

๐Ÿงถ Upload Your Fabric

Take a photo or upload an image of your fabric โ€” Ankara, Adire, Aso-oke, lace, Kente, senator, anything. Add optional details like yardage and width. The AI analyzes dominant colors, pattern, direction and visual density. If it isn't sure of the fabric type, it asks you to confirm โ€” we never pretend to know fabric composition from a photo.

2

โœจ AI Creates Your Design

Tell us the occasion, gender, garment type, style, fit, modesty preference and more (all optional). The AI generates four realistic outfit concepts that preserve your fabric's colors and print, each with a name, description, difficulty level and estimated fabric requirement.

3

๐Ÿ’ฌ Customize Your Outfit

Open the Design Studio and refine with plain language: "Make the sleeves three-quarter length", "Add a matching headwrap", "Turn this into a two-piece", "Make it suitable for a Nigerian wedding". Every variation is kept in the design's history so you can go back.

4

โœ‚๏ธ Generate Cutting Instructions

When you choose "Make This Outfit", we create a project, collect confirmed body measurements, and generate a cutting guide: fabric layout diagram, pattern piece list, grainlines, fold lines, seam allowances, notches and step-by-step cutting instructions.

5

๐Ÿงต Learn How to Sew

Get a structured sewing guide adapted to your garment: materials, tools, ordered construction steps with time estimates and difficulty, finishing touches and quality checks. Tick off each step as you sew. For supported garments, download validated measurement-based pattern pieces as SVG with a print calibration square.

Honesty first: AI concepts and cutting suggestions are educational aids. Validated patterns are drafted from standard blocks using your confirmed measurements โ€” and we always recommend testing with a toile or inexpensive fabric before cutting your final fabric.
